Supreme Court strikes does LA law on police access to hotel registers: After a campaign from the Los Angeles Lodging Association, which represents small, family-owned motels in South L.A., the U.S. Supreme Court struck down at Los Angeles ordinance that requires hotels to maintain a guest register subject to police inspection.
