The Vermont-Manchester Collaborative, which represents more than 50 community-based organizations in South Los Angeles, in partnership with the Los Angeles Police Department, Operations-South Bureau, is committed to addressing the quality-of-life issues affecting the community.  As part of that effort, the Collaborative has mobilized the residents of the area to come together to remove trash, overgrown shrubberies, bulky items, and paint out graffiti in one of the areas most impacted by violent crime in the Southeast Division.  All members of the public are invited to come out and participate in this event
